Milli’s story reached a new chapter: she wanted a light, summery, fun and colorful look. For this we thought of preparing a citrusy and refreshing gin – we put it together! The process was exciting and we knew we wanted to start from the basic recipe and change the proportions there.
We ordered approx. 30 new potential spices, of which we immediately set aside the “garnishes” based on smell (dried green mango, strawberry leaves, rhubarb, myrtle, …) and those that passed the smell test, in which we saw fantasy, were distilled separately. Here were also bled some (yuzu, peony, hibiscus, pine bud, …), 5 elements remained, as well as the juice of all citrus used, with which we supplemented the speakeasy recipe with modified proportions and fines.
