Each Aszú grape is harvested individually, placed in metal baskets. Eszencia is a unique nectar of Aszú grapes pressed by its own free-flowing weight. Unique nectar mentioned in the Hungarian national anthem. In the Middle Ages, it was considered a medicine, drunk before meals as a digestive; maximum one teaspoon a day. This elixir is liquid gold, so pure, ethereal, sensational, explosive on the palate, strangely complex and deliciously sweet.

When is the perfect time to drink this elixir; hard to say the optimal time…sometime over the next 250 years…that is…if you have patience. Perfect to drink after or even in place of a dessert but certainly perfect to savor on its own.
